Ms. Bonilla

Hello everyone. My name is Linda Bonilla and I am the Early Childhood Speech Center Speech Therapist. This is my fifth year working at the Speech Center. I am a UNLV graduate and received my Speech Language Pathology endorsement from Nevada State College. I have been a Speech Therapist for about 7 years now and have enjoyed working with the preschool population, although I have experience working with students with a variety of special education eligibilities within the Clark County School District. I have had the opportunity to work with students in preschool through eighth grade with developmental delays, Autism, traumatic brain injuries, language disorders, fluency disorders, articulation and phonology disorders and apraxia. When I am not at work I am spending time at home with my German shepherd or traveling when there are no pandemic restrictions.

Mrs. Dallas
My name is Mrs. Dallas and I'm very excited to be starting my sixth year as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher at Ruby Duncan Elementary! This will be my third year as an ECSE Co-Teacher for the NV Ready Pre-K program. I feel so incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to continue working with the wonderful students, families, and staff at Duncan!
I'm originally from Virginia but my family and I have lived in Las Vegas since 2009.  I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA and my Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Special Education from UNLV.  When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our three children (ages 12, 13, and 19), and our amazing dog.  I also enjoy traveling, listening to music, practicing yoga, walking in nature, and watching our Vegas Golden Knights.  Go Knights Go!!! This will be a unique year but I anticipate lots of fun, learning, and continued growth for all of our students!

Ms. English

My name is Ms. English and I’m excited to return as a NV Ready Pre-k teacher at Ruby Duncan! This will be my 8th year working in CCSD. I have previously taught first grade for 3 years, early childhood special education self-contained for 2 years, early childhood special education inclusion for 1 year, and NV Ready Pre-k for 2 years. I received my bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. I received my master’s degree from UNLV in Early Childhood Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education.
I grew up in an Air Force family and moved every four years. I have lived across the United States and in Japan and Germany. I am proud to call Las Vegas my home for the past 8 years and consider myself a local since this is the longest I have ever lived in one location. When I’m not teaching I enjoy traveling, baking, reading, crafting, and spending time with my family especially my nephews and niece.

  Mrs. Lim

Hello Ruby Duncan parents and students! My name is Margie Lim and I am so grateful to be back for school year 2020-2021. I will be joining the Preschool team as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher this year. I have been so proud to call Las Vegas my home since 2016. Prior to teaching here, I lived and taught Special Education for 8 years in Kansas City . I have been teaching for 14 years and I have a Master’s Degree in Special Education. I love creating a safe and loving learning environment where all children feel encouraged to try new things and learn from experience.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy traveling with my husband, crafting creative materials for school, making vector graphics and drawing on my tablet. I am so happy to have the opportunity to join the Duncan staff this year and to continue to inspire young minds to love learning.
