My name is Mrs. Manning and I'm honored to serve as the principal of Ruby Duncan Elementary School. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and I am a product of the Clark County School District. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Special Education and my master's degree is Administrative Leadership from Sierra Nevada College. I've taught and worked with grades Kindergarten thru 8th grade as a teacher and Special Education Instructional Facilitator. I worked as the Assistant Principal at Joseph Neal Elementary School before my appointment as Principal at Ruby Duncan in 2016. When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cheering on my favorite sports teams: Vegas Golden Knights and San Diego Padres.
Ruby Duncan is a great school with extraordinary people who work hard for our students. I am amazed every day at how hard all of the staff and students continue to work on setting goals and focusing on achieving to be the best. Our focus is aimed to ensure all students are learning at high levels of academic excellence and learning the skills to become the future leaders of tomorrow. I look forward to collaboratively working with our families and community.
Hello, I am Ms. Wyett and I am honored to be the assistant principal at Ruby Duncan Elementary School. I was born in California and raised in Sparks, NV then moved to Las Vegas in 1997. While here in Las Vegas I obtained my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix, and earned a Master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from Sierra Nevada College. While working for the Clark County School District, I have taught and worked with grades Kindergarten thru 5th grade as a teacher and as a learning strategist. I have 3 amazing children and a crazy dog! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my kids, hiking around Red Rock and Mt. Charleston, walking my dog (Harley), and going to the movies.
As your assistant principal, I am grateful to be a part of the Ruby Duncan family and community especially during these difficult times. We will continue to get through this together while maintaining high academic standards set forth by the Ruby Duncan family and community in a safe and nurturing environment.
